Do you have a DBS check?
Yes I have a DBS check in place which is updated every year.
How many pictures do you take?
I aim for 12 images per child and provide proof sheets with up to 12 images on. There will be a mix of close ups and full body images to choose from. There may be less if the child gets upset during the photography session. I will always try my best but sometimes it is very overwhelming especially for the little ones.
Do you take sibling photos?
I am more than happy to do so but please check with the nursery as I leave it to their discretion. Generally if there are siblings within the nursery they have pictures together, if you need to bring their siblings in please ask the nursery what would be the best time to do so.
What happens after photography day?
Within a 2-3 days after photography day I return proof packs to the nursery to be handed out to parents. I try to return proofs to the nursery as soon as possible.
The proof packs contain a proof sheet of up to 12 images and a price list. I ask parents to order online before the deadline on the proof sheet.
What forms of payment do you take?
Bank transfer or card payment online through WorldPay. I take Visa, MasterCard, Debit and Credit Cards.
What happens if parents miss the deadline?
I can still take orders after the deadline. Parents just need to order and pay online. There is a £4.95 late order fee.
How long until the completed orders are returned?
I try to get all orders completed and posted out to you within 10 working days.
Can different images be chosen in the packages?
Yes. The print packages are 'pick and mix' therefore you can select different images to make up your pack.
Only the wallet size images, which come with each pack must be of one image. Print Pack A is the only pack that must be of one image only.
Do you take special requests?
I try to keep my order forms as simple as possible. If there is something in particular not on my price list please get in touch and I will see what I can do for you.
Do you retouch the images?
Images on the proof sheets are not retouched and are straight out of the camera. Purchased products and digital images are retouched - this means the background is made white, the images are colour corrected and bogies, bumps & dribble are removed as much as possible.
Why do you need my phone number and email?
Your contact details are requested because I may have a problem with your order. I like to sort out any problems as soon as possible so that there is no delay with getting orders completed. Your details are not passed on or used for any other purpose.
I ordered digital images via email but I have not received them?
If you chose to receive your digital images via email, I will send them via WeTransfer. There will be a link in this email for you to download and save your images. The link will be available for 7 days before it expires for security. If you have not managed to save your images or view the email within the 7 days, please get in touch and I will send it again. Please remember to check your junk folder.
How long do you keep the images for?
Images from each nursery shoot are kept for up to 6 months after the shoot to allow time for all those forgotten and last minute orders.
I'm not happy with my order can I return it and get a refund?
If you need to return your order because it is damaged or incorrect, please contact Paula within 14 days of receiving your order. Digital images can not be returned or refunded due to the nature of the product.
Do you give commission to the nursery?
Yes I give 10% of profits made from all orders to the nursery.
Is there a staff discount for members of staff with children in the nursery?
Yes I offer a discount to staff members.
